Wednesday, September 1st, 2010O’FALLON, Mo.—August 31, 2010—O’Neal Hampton, contestant from the most recent season of NBC’s The Biggest Loser Couples, has a strong desire to share the knowledge he gained on the show with others. He recently opened Fitness North, a live-in weight loss and healthy lifestyle resource center in his home state of Minnesota, as a means to do so.
“Because everyone can’t be on The Biggest Loser this is my way of sharing some of the experiences I went through,” said Hampton. “I would like everyone to feel as good as I do right now for the rest of their lives …”
Hampton will be appearing at Assisted Living at the Meadowlands on Sun., Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. to share his personal story of change and growth.
The community is asking for donations as admission. The donations will go towards fundraising efforts for the St. Charles County Memory Walk.
O’Neal and his daughter Sunshine appeared on the show. Fans followed O’Neal’s progress throughout 15 weeks on the show that chronicled his weight loss of 124 pounds.
O’Neal and family hold a special connection to Alzheimer’s disease. His mother-in-law Alice died from Alzheimer’s disease two years ago.
Those interested in attending are asked to R.S.V.P. to (636) 978-3600 by Sat., Sept. 11. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
